The exhibits are the natural environment,the European arrival,the development of the yard,the people and their tools,the Nelson's time,Victorian navy,restoration and sailing ships return.
Horatio Nelson arrived in Carribean Leeward islands in 1784 as Captain to develop the local naval facilities and to enforce the shipping laws,the Navigation Act which prevented the trade of goods carried on foreign and American ships.
There is a very interesting part of the museum displaying and describing the illnesses and surgical treatments of the ancient time.
No entrance fee,included in the entrance fee of the whole dockyard
Research library(visited by appointment) and gift shop
Opening hours:8am- 5pm ,all year round Sundays and holidays included.
