Today is again rain expected. No Robben island and no Table mountain. I took the taxi bus and for 5 Rand they bring you almost anywhere in the center. I told them to stop as close as possible to greenmarket and of course they did. Within 5 minutes it start raining and time for a cup of coffee inside. I walked around for 2 hours to see the neighborhood there and take photo's. There is a lot of security on the streets. If people are begging for money or food, just walk ahead and at the next corner a policeman will warn him to leave you alone.
Then is was close to the next soccer match and I went to the Grand Parade, the fan fest. The first day I could not get in, but this time there was room for thousands more. I took a seat on the ground and watched the game. The entrance is free, but you will be searched for illegal stuff on you. Like knifes and sticks. There was a little bit trouble with a local seller of chips. He kicked against a beer from a guy and he got angry. He wanted a new beer. But within 10 seconds there was a security man with them and after buying him a new beer everybody watched the soccer again. At the end of the game I was tired and everything hurts after sitting such a long time on the ground, that I decided to watch the second game in my guest house.
The evening game as usual in a nice restaurant with a lot of others.
