A wet day
The day that I have a tide schedule. But not in the morning. So breakfast as usual at 9 am. My temp. mother was also there and she advised me what to eat. That would be good for me. Don't forget to eat your fruit. And.... don't leave your table unless you have finished your plate! Yes, breakfast is hard these days. Every morning there are flags on the table. They are in top or... halfway. That depends on her mood. But she is very nice ;)

I left at 11 to walk to the center, that is about 1 hour walk. I would be on time for the Dutch match. But after 5 minutes I decided to take the bus taxi for 5 Rand and 15 minutes later I was in the center of Cape Town. Much to early so I walk a bit around, found some new streets and restaurants and at 12:30 I walked to the Dutch bar: Tommy's sports bar.

There were only 10 persons inside but now I could find me the best place. But within no time the bar was crowded. And how lucky was I that some persons brought there vuvuzela with them. Most of the Dutch were students and studying for 6 months in Cape Town. A few strangers like me made it complete. But I was Orange, so they new what my favorite was. We all were trying to sing "het Wilhelmus" but it was more noise than singing.
I was raining outside and suddenly also raining inside. We scored (oké, Denmark) our first goal and the rain inside tasted very much like beer..... Now there was party, party, party!
After the second goal ... I cant remember what really happened. Suddenly there were 3 times more people around me than before. I took a last beer, and after the game I decided to get some fresh air.
Party!
More had the same ideas.

I needed to get to my guest house quick. I had to change and wouldn't be all orange at my next game: Italy-Paraguay.
With an extra fleece sweater and a rain coat (still orange) I went to the stadium. Just 2 minutes before I was at the checkpoint it started raining like hell. After the check it is still a 3 minutes walk. So I got more wet. Finally in the stadium and a seat..... not in the rain. How lucky can you be. But the most seats are dry. Just the first 10 rows in the middle you will be wet. The game went into a 1-1 draw and we all left home. And of course, halfway it started to rain again. I did not have something on my head, so I was quite wet.

At the guest house there was pretty Michelle sitting behind the desk and felt sorry for me. She gave me a towel to dry my hair immediately. We talked a bit and then I went upstairs to get me some dry clothes.
