How can anyone be stupid enough to book a flight that arrives at the destination at midnight?  What happens to airport transfer and hotel check-in? What's more, how can anyone plan for a trip immediately after an exam!

That was what happened and three lunatics were on their way to Taipei via Hong Kong by Cathay Pacific, immediately after an examination (Just imagine the rush!)

The flight to Hong Kong took about 4 hours, and after about another 2 hours in the transit area, the three took another 1 hour plus flight to Taipei.  It would be mush faster to fly from Singapore to Taipei by Jetstar or Singapore Air, but one doesn't offer meals and the other is too expensive for a regional journey, the three took Cathay Pacific instead.

It was almost midnight when the three arrived at Taipei Taoyuan Airport.  Lucky for them, the hotel they booked for the night, TS or Ta Shun Hotel arranged for pickup.  Although it cost NTD 1200 (the hotel kindly waived off the midnight charge considering that the three had suffered much for the extended travel time), it was a blessing as there was practically no taxi or buses or cars on the road to Taipei City.  That was the second last arrival at the airport.

TS hotel was wonderfully reviewed by forummers.  It was also sitatued at a very central location.  Of course, by the time the three reached the hotel and checked into the room, they showered and without thinking about the next day's plan, fall asleep.
