Our first morning at the Vista Serena we heard whatever lived in the hills below. It was absolutely incredible- howler monkeys, birds, and god knows what all down there whoopin it up. That's pretty cool stuff. Our number one priority was hangin on the beach- so we went down to the bus stop and waited. The bus rides to and from the beach weren't bad at all and the buses seemed to run quite often. Once we arrived at the beach we noticed the dogs were all weird long body types- pretty funny looking dogs. The beach was tight and we rented some surf boards, $5 for how ever long you wanted. Down at the beach we met a few locals and shared some beers for a while- we would run into them later. So after hangin at the beach all day we caught the bus back to the Vista Serena to see what was poppin. When we returned we were greeted by Simone, a german girl who worked at the Costa Rica Backpacker and friend of Coney's- so we ended up partying all night on the back deck. It was nice because the guy running the place could order beer for delivery and we didn't have to venture into the rain.
