Although I moved to Gold Coast about one month ago, that didn't mean I wasn't keeping in touch with my great host. I have been quite busy at school, but finally found the chance to visit him, yay! He came to Gold Coast on Friday and I had classes until early in the afternoon, so I could drive back to Brissy with him, sweet! We had dinner at night and get ready to wake up early next morning. Why? Well, he had to go to the Sunshine Coast and would drive me with him. How great! I haven't been in that part of QLD and sounded so appealing.
The day was gorgeous, all sunny, warm but not hot. So good, he told me to pack my swimsuit, we'd go to the beach, yay. I wasn't paying for accommodation, so I baked an apple cake just for him.
Gold Coast is beautiful, but I found these beaches more charming, if possible. They look like a paradise! Maybe the fact that the weather was perfect helped to create the atmosphere. I could hardly believe it was winter! According to Craig during summer time beaches are very crowded, plus it can get really hot. So the best time to go to the beach here is by the end of the winter or spring. In case you are looking for having the beach just for you :)
He went to surf, while I chilled out listening to some music and sunbathing. Awwww, what a hard life, haha. Later he came back and we went for a walk around the area. Well, it was time to start driving back to the city. It was a lazy and relaxing day. Can't wait to come back to the Sunshine Coast when it gets a bit warmer. Yes! I'm living so close to paradise!
