Strawberry Fields forever!

While we were looking for the Big Pineapple we saw the signs for the Strawberry Fields and this was definitely a place I wanted to visit. It was a PYO thing, which means Pick Your Own. You were allowed to pick your own strawberries, sweet! Why was I so obsessed with this? Well, back in Michigan I picked up cherries and wanted to do the same with the strawberries, yay!
We arrived there past 4pm and it wasn't sunny anymore. Actually that worked fine, since picking up strawberries while it's hot wouldn't be that fun. After parking, Kate & myself went to the store and grabbed some containers. Then we went to the fields and started picking strawberries, awww. It was such a nice picture, awwww. It was my first time picking up something from a field. The closest I've been to be a farmer.
After a while we got enough strawberries. It was time to go back to the other area, wash the strawberries and then weight them. Once we knew how much we picked, we'd know how much we owed. Yes, nothing is for free, haha. But it was fun doing something different. This area is just about strawberries and the decoration is just about them. I felt like Strawberry Shortcake, haha.
We packed our strawberries and started to drive back to Brisbane. It was getting late to drive all the way back to Gold Coast, so we'd overnight in Brissy. Yay! Going back to the city. It was fun pretending to be a little farmer, but I'm a city girl :)
