Big drove me to the airport and he stayed with me until I crossed security. He didn't leave until I was ready and walking to my gate, how kind of him! I was expecting a long line at Quantas check point, but there was no one. Plus the lady at the front desk was super friendly. So good I wasn't by myself at the airport; otherwise, I'd have had problems handling all my luggage.
Well, after clearing customs and going through security it was still early and decided to take a walk, but ther was no much to see, plus it was getting late and some places started to close.
It might not have been the best coffee ever, but was ok. Actually my main purpose there was to get internet, but I couldn't and I really wanted to since I wanted to email my friend in Oz, the one who would pick me up in Brisbane. Oh well, I decided to stay there not that long and went to my gate in order to watch some people, hehe.
The gate was crowded, found a seat and started to write - a writer is always a writer. Right before leaving Dan's place I checked my email and found a mail from my editor saying he'd like me to write an article about the travel to highlands I did before leaving Peru, sweet! I've already written about it on TB.
It was almost 11pm when we started to board. The plane was very big an since I couldn't pick up my seat online, I ended up sitting between a big and sort of old lady, who turned up to be kind but just at the very end of the flight, and an old guy who was embroidering the whole time. Not even 15min after taking off, they served dinner. I ate a bit and took my earplugs. My plan was trying to sleep as much as possible, so the jetlag wouldn't affect me.
Lights went off, nap time! zzz
