According to the guys the surf was "fair dinkum" which means cool in Aussie English, hehe. I'm improving my vocabulary. While they were surfing, I was enjoying the beautiful day. The sand was white and the vegetation was right next to the beach, nothing to do with Lima which is a desert. Also the sky was deep blue, turquoise water and high buildings with great architecture. And this awesome place would be my future town, how lucky! Without knowing it, I chose the perfect city to study.
After about 3 hours the guys were ready to go. I had time to walk around and wrote quite a bit. I was admiring the gorgeous landscapes and nice architecture of the area. And of course I took several pictures, how couldn't I do it? It has been a productive day, but before leaving we'd go to the point to check the other surfers and waves. This was another tradition, which also included having a cup of coffee. I passed the coffee, a cup per day was enough. Plus I have switched the coffee for coca leaves tea back in Lima... I guess I would reassume my coffee costumes here :P
We started to drive back home and the traffic was too heavy... what was going on? Craig called one of his friends who was also driving back to Brissy and left a couple of minutes before.
Afternoon was peaceful and just to relax - including being online of course, hahaha. Later we had dinner and watched a movie, a Spanish one, hehe. Since I woke up early, my plan was to go to bed early too, but it wasn't happening. I got the inspiration for writing and didn't want to let the moment go.
