A Peruvian reminder for Dan: pisco & coca tea!
We landed on time and clearing customs was incredibly simple. There weren't long lines plus the officer was kind and funny. He kept on asking me if I was married or had children, hahaha, do I look so? At the end he stamped my passport and although I told him I'd stay just for 4 days, the stamp said I was allowed to stay there for 6 months. USA likes this Peruanita!!!!

Picking up my belongings, although they were heavy, was easy. Next step was finding Dan. He's also a TB and we met in Lima almost 1 year ago, when he was there with his brother. When he noticed I'd be in L.A. he kindly invited me to stay at this place in Santa Monica. How sweet!

I was about canceling my cellphone before leaving Lima, but then Dan made me realize it'd be super difficult to contact him at the airport.
of course, had to check my email :)
So good my cellphone was working. Yes, the phone bill would be expensive, but that was a necessity. He was already at the airport just looking for a parking spot. I gave him a call and he approached to the entrance. It was so nice to see him again. He had told me that Santa Monica is usually cloudy - like Lima - but it was so sunny! I'm lucky!

After a few minutes we arrived to his place. It wouldn't have taken even less, but traffic was heavy. He had to go to work and left me a set of keys so I'd be able to come and go as needed / wanted. Sweet! Thanks, Dan! You rock!

Well the rest of L.A. adventures come in another blog, since they belong to L.A. Meet Up and a Meet Up deserves its own blog :)
