There are beautiful tropical gardens(in particular ginger specimens) planted thirty years ago(with signs all over about every plant),a small waterfall featured in Superman II,an ancient trail once used to transport harvested coconuts,a restaurant in an old sugar mill and a waterwheel built in 1765 originally used to crush the sugar cane and that has generated the first electricity of Soufrière.
The Mineral Baths built in 1784 for the troops of King Louis XVI of France have the same properties as the baths in the French Aix-les-Bains or Aachen in Germany.Recently restored and open to the visitors, they may have therapeutic effects in chronic rheumatism and respiratory complaints.
