After a cancelled last year, it was good to be back on the Campsite La Pinede. As i wrote in my review a campsite at the gate of what they called little switserland. Arriving on the campsite in heavy rain we waited with putting the caravan in place till the rain stopped. We went for a coffee to friends, who arrived a day earlier with a campervan. Because of the heavy rain in the day's before arrival, they where not allowed to park the camper on the pitches because they will damaged the terrain. The only place to park was under a big tree. Dry and dark. After an hour the rain stopped and we put every thing in place and let the long weekend holiday start.
From the campsite La Pinede you can easely walk into a great natural surrounding. At the reception you can pick up walking maps and start the tour you want. But if you stay close to the campsite you have the opportunity to see that mother nature will show you all the beauty she have.
If you want to see some cities or villages, Echternach, La Rochette, Diekirch are places worth to pay a visit.
