My parents were in Japan to visit so we set out today to explore tokyo.
Odaiba has many resturants, cafes, shops and entertainment areas to explore.
We got off at Tokyo teleport station and headed towards Aqua city and Decks two shopping and eating areas. We stopped by the mini statue of liberty by the rainbow bridge, next we headed into the shopping area that is done up like Little Hong Kong. From there we went to the futuristic looking Fuji TV building. After having a look around we decided to get some lunch.
We found an italian resturant and sat down to enjoy a nice italian lunch.
After lunch we decided to get one of the boats that curise down the sumida river to Asakusa.
We took the boat from Odaiba pier to Hinode peir where we changed to another boat to go to Asakusa.
We cruised passed many bridges along the Sumida river and Tokyo bay all different colours and shapes.
Upon arriving we headed towards the Karimon gates at Asakusa and took a walk now Nakamise Dori (shopping street) mum wanted to buy a lucky cat so we found a nice one there.
After a bit of shopping we headed towards the Asahi Brewery and found a nearyby bar and had a nice relaxing drink. We then decided to go to the Kamiya Beer Bar for dinner.
We were seated next to some very friendly Japanese people who kept laughing and smiling at us. One lady bought my father some famous wiskey made by the bar.
After enjoying some beer and food we decided to head home so we made our way to the train station and were lucky enough to get an express train back home.
We all had a fun day exploring Tokyo.
