I decided to come to Japan to teach English back in 2003. I intended to stay only a year but a year has turned into almost 6 years I left on 9 November 2008. I've learnt much about the customs and culture of Japan so id like to share some of my knowledge with you. I hope my experiences can help other people travelling to Japan. I will slowly be adding my photos, tips and reviews.

Zushi Beach

I moved to Zushi Beach area for a job while there it was great to breath some fresh sea air and take in the awesome sunsets on the beach.

In summer time the beach is crowded with people soaking up the sun and swimming, windsurfing, fishing, or yatching at nearby Hayama Marina,  having BBQ's,  drinking at the many beach bars,  and watching the fireworks displays at night.

Zushi is like any other beach but the sand is more a grey colour.

Still if you wan to go to a nice beach in Japan this would be the place to visit its also near Kamakura which is home to the Great Daibutsu (Big Buddah).

Hey could you give me directions to the beach from Hashimoto please? I am always looking for a good beach. Oiso is not too bad, but it's a good 2 hours from my home!
