What ive found particularly strange here in Japan is that to buy a pizza from Pizza is going to cost you 3,000 yen (30 USD) ...Your going to want this pizza to be something special for that price well its actually kind of strange coz it has some of the weirdest combinations ever. Some are totally disgusting while others are not too bad. However I have not yet figured out the obssession with corn and mayonaise. Here are a few ive come across:
#1 is onions, green peppers, salami, bacon, corn and pizza sauce
#2 is bacon, potato, onion mayonnaise, pizza sauce,
#3 is potato, bacon, tuna, onions, corn and curry sauce.
#4 is onions, macaroni, corn, mushrooms, meat sauce, parsley and white sauce.
#5 is made from Basil sauce, tuna, bacon, crushed tomatoes, Italian sausage
#6 is cabbage, wieners, scrambled eggs and tomato ketchup.
#7 is teriyaki chicken, mayonnaise, cabbage, nori (seaweed) and of course teriyaki sauce.
#8 is onions, corn, bacon, fresh asparagus, mayonnaise, cheese
#9 is wiener sausages, mustard, potatoes, green peppers, onions, cheese
#10 is Pepperoni, Chopped Beef, Bacon, Mushroom, Eggplant, Tomato, Green Pepper, Garlic, Shitaki Mushroom, Onion
**** Here is a list of typical, everyday, normal pizza toppings that Japanese do not think is odd in the least:
Squid
Salmon
Dried Flakes Of Fish
Green Asparagus
Broccoli
Eel (that's it! there went lunch!)
Spiced Ginger
Kimchi
Dried Fish Flakes (when heated, they wave & curl around in the air like they're alive .
Corn

Egg Yolk
Curry Powder
Entire Chicken Breast
Cod Roe
Raisins Tater Tots
Boiled Welsh Onions
Jalapeno Peppers
Tuna
Shrimp

Yes and they want us to pay 3,000 yen for this. I don't think so give me a good old ham and pineapple pizza anyday.
