Early sunset watch at Fiesole

Now this is a pretty town!
They always say the best surprises are the ones you least expected, and this falls into that category. I had heard of Fiesole earlier. All the travel books said to visit this place. But I wasn't expecting to have such a peaceful time. Now the only confusing thing about this place was getting there. U catch a bus at San Lorenzo, you can save yourself money by buying tickets at the stand instead of on the bus.... it was pretty confusing. The ride is about 30 minutes (or less?), you ride through an enormous bunch of hills and finally get to the hillside town that is Fiesole.
This is pretty! This was the first time I experienced the beauty of the so-called Tuscan trees.
I think the best part about this town is that there's so less to do, and you know you're only here for a couple of hours at most, that you really don't want to do anything but wander around meaninglessly. I think I shot some of my best pics here, and they fall under the random shot category.
Favourite pic of mine is the one taken from the church overlooking the green valley of Firenze with the lamp post on the side. Very nice! The added hours of sunshine always helps, and the sunshine was brilliant.
I spent a couple of hours here, and headed on the 730pm bus back to Firenze. My evening was pretty much standard, got some food packed and headed back to the hotel for an early night in.
