After planning so much I did everything but plan for the place where im going to be staying the first week here in Madrid, but no problem with the help of Couchsurfing.com which is a really neat site, if you don't know it look it up, I meet a local named Arturo whose family nicely hosted me for the whole week i was there, they were really nice and sort of hippiesh which is not really a problem but just had to mention. Also some excited the very first day i got lost for 3-4 hrs in the neighberhood because i forgot the path home...jajaja
Well so far i haven't had too much of a culture shock although my hours have definetly been fu**** up since I got here.
these last few days i've spent mostly going out like a tourist to visit monuments around Madrid and pretty much the most interesting thing has been when I mistakely asked for a "tapa" instead of a "CaNa" which are very different but go well quite often together(one being a Drink the other a appetizer).
After the pretty touristy week I've had the weekend came with a little bang because alas I went out with not too much crazyness... went to club and a concert which was called Africa Vive! an equivelent of what a Bob Marley festival would
most likely be like...
