Powder white sand, sun drenched beaches, crystal clear waters and water tempretures that allow all year round swimming.
Before heading to my parents house we made a stop at my Aunts place in Noosa for a few days.
Noosa is about 120 kilometres (60 miles) north of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Located on the Sunshine coast.
The Sunshine Coast enjoys a sub tropical climate with average summer temperatures ranging between 17 and 28 deg C. Winter temperatures are also extremely pleasant and range between 7 and 22 deg C. The wettest period is January to March but rain can be expected all year. Humidity peaks on autumn mornings at around 74 per cent and on late summer afternoons at around 66 per cent. Cyclones are very rare.
Locals and visitors enjoy the casual atmosphere of Noosa and generally wear shorts, sarongs, short sleeved shirts and sandals. Casual chic is in style for the finer restaurants and if on business you'll be surprised if you see a tie and jacket.
The weather on the sunshine coast allows all year round swimming and enjoying the sun, surf and relaxing.
Noosa is home to many resorts, beaches and resturants.
Located on Hastings Street is the Visitors information centre which can help you with any infromation and events happening in the local area. Its well worth paying a visit to if you plan on spending a few days in the area.
After arriving to my Aunts place we decided to have a relaxing day and just explored the nearby town of Noosa.
We went in and strolled along Hastings Street enjoying the shops, resturants and beach area. Then we headed up to Noosa National Park Headlands to get some spectacular views of Noosa Town and beaches.
For breakfast we enjoyed a nice home cooked BBQ aussie breakfast and then took one of the boats out on the Noosa river to explore the area.
Later on we went for drinks and lunch at the Noosa Yatch club.
A great day enjoy the sights of Noosa.
