We drove to Pigen Forge without event until we were within 10 miles of the "resort". We then entered a 6 lane parking lot. It took 2 1/2 hours to go the 10 miles. Yes, 2 1/2 hours. We finaly reached the "resort" to be told anything we wanted to do would be back on the strip that was the parking lot, including all resteraunts. We asked if this traffic was due to the holiday weekend. The girl said no this is normal traffic. I did not want to sit another 2 hours just to get to a place to eat. We had frozen pizza in the room. When we got to the room it was tiny, dark and clostrophobic. The Kitchen consisted of a small fridge, small stove and sink. The few dishes that were there were dirty. I had to cook the pizza directly on the oven rack as there was not a pan. The "living room" was aprox 10 x 10 if that. Their was only one lamp in the room with a low watage bulb (what are they trying to hide). The bedroom just held a full bed. No closet. The view was not very good either. They say they have wifi however you need to pay an additional $10.00 fee per day on top of the premium rate you are paying already. No maid service. Laundry is at the other end of the building and it is coin operated. I will go back to Sedona Az. There we had large rooms, a full kitchen with lots of dishes and pans. Laundry facilites in your suite for free and free wifi. Wiith maid service once a week to be sure everythig is clean and neat.
