Spent the weekend in Libreville. Since it was not for work, decided to stay in a small hotel by the beach instead of the boring Le Meridien....it was way way better!
Located 3 minutes drive from the Lean Mba International air port right in front of the beach. The hotel beach was immaculate, coconut trees in front and public beach further down.
Buffet was excellent and very well priced.
Very relaxing and a hidden jewel.

Was at the Omnisport stadium for a Martial Arts performance. Arrived at 7 and was the only non-african in the stadium. 7:30 PM, the consul of Japan arrived. 7th Dan guru then waltz in with a Gabonese 6th Dan. Both greeted the Japanese Consul.

Next thing was a string of performance by local artiste. 10:30 PM, one of the cabinet minister arrived and the show started.

Demonstration by both gurus followed by various Martial Arts organization.......First time i say this many Africans practicing Kung Fu ( about 5 various sects ), Wing Chun, karate, judo, tea kwan do etc.....

Guess what, 11:30 PM, Prime minister arrived. Walk in straight during a demonstration and everything stopped.....TIA!!!

Louis is the place to party. Bomb Afro is good!

The next day was spend at the beach eating and sipping my beer.....
