Caye 2

South Water Cayes Travel Blog | Travelogue | Travel Journal

A class of 14 from Sir Robert Borden High School in Ottawa, Canada, made a trip to Belize with Island Expeditions. The pictures will explain the rest.

Caye 2

This caye was more for relaxing than the others, as we were able to just rest on a beautiful dock, watch the sunrise and set, and watch a dog named Oscar catch some lobster and conch while baracuda's swam around. After 2 days at this caye, we headed off to the third caye another 8km trip. On the way we stopped at our guides' friends' caye, a 5km trip, and ate some lunch under a covered dock, before going out on the ocean to spearhunt some fish. Collectively in a group of 14, we only caught 3, 11 inch, bony fish. After that we made a bee-line, 3km kayak trip for the third caye, seeing some amazing fish and rays on the way.
