Travelling in the tour bus.

I was spending 3 nights in Hong Kong after arriving from Poland very early in the morning. I was very excited to be here and it was a beautiful day. It was nice and sunny outside and my plan was to catch the train to Hong Kong Island. I was very impressed with the Hong Kong train!, it was very clean, spacious, and had tv monitors. It was nice just to see the scenery from the large windows and see people going about there everyday lives. when i arrived to Hong Kong Island, i got a taxi to my Hotel(The Charter House) in Wan Chai.

Once i checked in i decided to go have a look around and made my way towards Causeway Bay.

I enjoyed just experiencing everything around me :) It felt great to be here and i kind of felt like i was at home, as i enjoy the big cities. I ended up in Times Square Plaza and had lunch in one of the chinese resteraunts. I wish i could remember the name of it, but the meal there was very nice and tasty. from there i did a little bit of exploring aound and also some shopping. Later that night i went to another resteraunt, this time a thai resteraunt in Causeway Bay. And checked out a few bars to have some beers.

I booked a Group all day tour that was arranged through my hotel. The mini bus picked me up in the morning, stopping to other hotels to pick up more tourists. all up i think there was 10 or 12 of us. We had a good guide with us, a lady that would always try to joke and make us feel welcome. Our first destination was the Man Mo Temple.

Lot of people movers in Hong Kong.
It was really spiritual and there were lots of people there. It was also under renovations. Next up was The Peak. It was a foggy day so the view there wasn't the best, but not the worst. We went next to a jewellery factory which was interesting and had a very yummy dim sum lunch at The Jumbo resteraunt. Our last stop was to be at the stanley markets. I only had an hour there and i bought a couple of souveniers. Then we got dropped off to our hotels.

Next day i celebrated my birthday! I did alot of walking that day checking out all of Causeway Bay and Wan Chai. I had a very nice dinner at El Cid spanish resteraunt. Then i went to a few more bars. The next day i was flying back home to Australia.

I really enjoyed my time in Hong Kong and said to myself that i will be back here soon.
