Areas around the road through Kinlochewe
On out way to Torridon Loch, we stopped in a charming little village of Kinlochewe
and the majority of our tour group had lunch in the bus. We were suppose to have a pinic and eat lunch at St. Mary's Loch, but the weather wasn't the greatest that day. So after I ate some lunch, I waslked around the village a little bit before heading to one of the main Hotels, Kinlochewe Hotel that had Beinn Elge Bar restaurent. As far as I could tell, in was the only restaurent open. This restaurent was nicely decorate and had great fancy coffee's and drinks to your liking. The staff were great; however, were a little overwhelmed because there was only really 1-2 people working and we were a bus load of 15 I think. Overall though, it was a great stop to warm up with a nice cup of java. Next stoped quickly yet again at another Loch. The Loch's name was Loch Torridon. I thought that this was one of the most prettiest Lochs. It's in the west coast of Scotland in the North east highlands. This Loch also connects to the Atlantic. The weather seemed to be a little warmer there too; which was great because I found it to be really cold in Sconltand. This Loch also unfortunately had a salmon farm in it too. I put the location as Torridon because at the head of the loch lies Torridon village. However, I do not believe we went to this village.
