Train ride to Kiel via Hamburg, walk along the seaside
I left the house at about 7:15am and went with the tram to the main station in Mannheim.In the ICE i sat next to parents with their babies which was very annoying for me because i was very tired and i just wanted to sleep...
Well luckily this family left at Frankfurt so i was alone with a women and her daugther qnd i finally slept almost till Hamburg.There i left the ICE and entered an old RE to Kiel.During this 1h30 journey to Kiel i had a little lunch and finally i arrived at Kiel main station at around 3:00pm.
I meet some people who went to the naval base too so we went by bus together.Finally we reached our aim at 4:25pm.Now it was time for a little 'check-in' and meeting my room-mates for the upcoming 2 days.
At about 6:00pm we meet for a little dinner.Everything was pretty strict...like in the army...
After that i went for a walk along the seaside with 4 bavarian people....i'll NEVER do it again because i hardly understood a word they said!!!
I took some nice photos and enjoyed the wonderful evening at the sea.when we returned to the base lights were switched off at 10:30pm and after came the funniest part of the day. We talked about our three guides and gave them the nicknames 'Tarni', 'Dreistreifenmännchen' and 'Die Maat'.
Altogether it was a nice first evening and i was sure that this trip will be a wonderful experience.
