Nassau Bahamas and Snorkling
Andrea decided to go snorkling for her birthday excursion. She, Kim and I had an awsome time! (Nick doesn't swim, Adrea threw up all night from drinking too much and Paul had to take care of his wife.) The others took a walking tour. After a frustrating and completely disorganized walk to the catameran, we had a relaxing ride out to the reef. This trip had a lot more fish than the snorkel tour I took in Cozumel last Nov. You could see tons more up close and no jellies to sting me! At one point I thought I saw a stingray but upon closer inspection of the photos, we determined that it was probably a guitarfish. Which is still pretty cool. A flounder tired to shuffle his way under the sediment but I still saw him! We went in a little early because it was too cold for us.
We all got dressed up for formal night on the ship, except Adrea because she's still recovering. We sang Happy Birthday to Andrea at dinner and then went back into port. We took a limo cab to Atlantic and walked around. If I go to the Bahamas for an extended period of time, I would love to stay here. It has everything. We mostly just wanted to see the aquarium. There was a ton of stuff that we didn't even get to see. Back on the ship we were supposed to go out for Andrea's birthday but half of us slept right thru it.
