School of Massage for Health
Before coming to Thailand I researched a variety of schools I was interested in. I was planning to take courses between two different schools. When I went to register for class at the first school (majority of coursework) I could not go in because they had a qi-gong classes going on and administration was on the other side. A student outside said I have to wait about an hour so I decided to go to the other school and come back. I walked around the corner to School of Massage for Health and found where I was to study.

I took over 100 hours of Thai related courses and had a blast there. It was really cool to meet people from all over the world and the instructors were very insightful. Out of the classes I took my favorites were "Tok-Sen" and Thai Herbal Compress. The greatest draw to this school for me was the flexibility which allowed me to explore other things.

Hi curlylocks, not tcm although that was one of the schools I had considered. You must get clear what you want from a school. I can tell you I realize afterwards that flexibility was key for me because all of the activities I got into so school of massage and health was a good fit. One of the teachers (Ong) there that I came to admire and learn much from has open her own school. One thing you want to be aware of is if your training/certification is excepted in your country. Most of all it's about the vibe. If you have the time visit the schools once you're there before deciding but do the research before you go
