Got up about 11.00 and went to Vianden. Vianden is the place with the biggest castle. Such a pretty place and really nice that they kept is as good as it is. The Castle was build between the 11th and 14th centurie. Read more about the Castle of Vianden in my review.

After the visit of the castle we desided to go to Mullertall to start another walk.

We started our walk just like the day before. With a lot of laughter and enjoyinhg the beautiful nature. The weather was not that good, it was a little bit rainy and les sunny then it was yesterday. But we had our umbrella’s and our good nature and so we just gave it a go.

Yes I walked hiked on my Converse and my lovely panter umbrella :).
Again feeling very small next to those big rocks.

We didn’t pas much other’s taking this route but we hust thought that, that was because of the bad weather.

Little did we now that latter on we would be in for a big adventure as we came across one three on the road …

We decided to just climb over that one and head on. It was about 2.5km till the finish so we just gave it a go and did not think there would be much more.

As we crossed more tree’s we begin to discover that it was not that weird that we did not came across other hikers. After those few trees, the road was passable and we just hiked along. Little did we know that as we turned we would be in for a big challenge.

The whole road was blocked with trees!!! We already walked for about 8km and we weren’t planning on walking al those kilometers back the same way we came. So brave as we where we decided to climb over the trees… But of course our climbing expedition halfway, I got the giggles, thank god for laughter! And thank God we didn’t take ourselves that serious. We climbed over the trees and we survived, after half a kilometer we had to climb over more trees and we also survived that. We never lost sight of the little signs who told us the direction. But we did find it weird that there was no sign anywhere telling us that the route we took was not really passable…

Of course when we finally got back to the car there was a sign saying route W3 had a detour…

Guess we just missed that one..
