I took a much needed (but short) vacation and spent a week in Stuttgart with my relatives. I enjoy the German culture I get to experience when staying with my family. We also took a nice drive through the Black Forest and I took a day trip to Zurich, Switzerland.

Rhein fly by

The train sped through Schaffhausen along the Rhein on the way to Zurich.  We passed the Rheinfels (a big waterfall) super fast and I couldn't get a decent photo.  So I just settled for one where we crossed the river.  Someday I'll have to stop and check out the waterfalls - they looked enormous!
