Bombing to Boston

We made it home. Rehydrated and not too tired.
We left Springdale, Utah at about 8:30 Tuesday morning and were back in Boston 12:15 Friday afternoon. Not bad time.
We stopped in Nebraska at some urine smelling Super 8. Not a great but we got some sleep. We then went to drove to Lansing, IL and stayed at a decent Red Roof Inn. Then we drove to Albany, NY. The last hour of that ride took forever. We were screaming out loud entertaining ourselves. We got there. It was an Americas Best Value Inn. Not bad, did the job. We headed home not exhausted and glad to be safe and sound.
Ok, so the facts.
We traveled about 9,000 miles with 25.5 mpg.
We spent less than our budget, however, we could have saved more if we did not go to Seattle and Las Vegas. Big City = Big $.
We don't feel that we penny pinched and we did really everything we wanted to except the skydiving at the Strat. Too scary for me to watch, so Bri didn't do it.
We do think we were a little over ambitous. We drove alot, although once we were West it calmed down.
We do have a few places we would like to visit again. Good thing Bri has summers off.
Allergies are different on the West coast and many visitors have allergies when out there.
Yeti's are not often seen.
Cots may be better than an airmattress for a tent.
Be bear aware. Do not approach animals. Recent news stories support this.
We have an awful case of RV envy!
The internet phones and GPS are great for traveling and looking up stuff.
Most importantly, we are able to tolerate one another for 4 weeks, no breaks!!!
We had alot of fun. If anyone reading this needs more specific info, feel free to contact me. I am more than happy to help YOU plan your trip.
