Somewhere in the Ciampino Airport bathroom...
Again, rising just before the sun, we scrambled to gather things so that we could get our free chocolate croissants and orange juice before we left this hostel with terribly uncomfortable beds. Hotel in Paris here I come! We got checked out on the way to the train station at, like, 6 in the morning... really? REALLY? That was another thing about Rome-- lots of gross guys hitting on you and checking you out. Not fun.

Anyway-- wheeled suitcases over the cobblestone to the train station, took a bus that I had to pay for that I had already paid for online, got to the airport in Ciampino, which I still don't know how to pronounce, I dropped my passport on the floor and almost lost it... The best part of being in the airport was that when Mary came back from the bathroom she told me that people had written stuff all over the wall saying that they'd been there, and so she'd written something for us. Why not? She took a picture of it. So now there's something written about us on the wall in the bathroom in Rome. Hurrah.

Waiting in line was more pushing and cutting. LAME. WHY. It took forever to get on the plane because the plane was late coming in. Then when we actually got on the plane, we had to wait for an hour before the plane could take off since we'd had to get in the back of the line on the runway. This is why I say that Ryan Air and Easy Jet (we were flying Easy Jet) are hit and miss. This was a miss, unfortunately, but eventually we said goodbye to the beautiful Roman countryside to say hello to PARIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like a great little excursion to Italy.
