Me and Ryan at the Entrance to the Guinness Brewery

We met up with some friends we met the night before and walked to the Guiness Brewery at Saint James Gate.  Its a nice tour to walk through that teaches you about the brewing process, shows advertisments through the ages, a huge gift shop, and a nice bar at the top where you receive a free guiness.

The rest of the day we just strolled the city and watched some crazy Irish sport I don't think it was hurling but it wasn't rugby either so i'm not sure.  It was fun to watch with the locals and cheer for whoever they cheered for.

So this may just be a hostel thing however we discovered that the showers are much different from what we have in our american homes.  The temperature isn't very adjustable and there is this button you have to push in every 15 seconds to keep the water running or it turns off.  I am not a fan but we delt with it.

That shower thing you refer to is just a hostel thing, they're usually found in communal bathrooms, swimming pools, gyms, etc.

Also, I think the game you watched was Gaelic Football! It's crazy alright, extremely physical! Hurling is even crazier, it's played at a blistering pace! You should try and catch a game if you come back some time! :)
