Our morning tourism started at Trinity college. We first took a Historical Walking Tour of Dublin from a graduate student who studied History at Trinity College. It was interesting, especially if you love History... for me a non history buff it was still interesting but went over the top a bit. After the tour we walked around the Temple Bar area and had lunch. Then we gout our tour of Trinity College and the book of kells. We had a short tour before hand and then got to go inside to see old manuscripts and the book of kells. The Book of kells was written about 800AD and contained gospels of Mathew, mark, Luke, and JOhn. it is very colorful with pictures and the inks used for the color were from all over(mediteranean, Persia, Afghanistan, etc.
That night we went on a BackPackers Pub Crawl which was so much fun. Basically you pay a few euro and they take you around to a bunch of different bars getting you free shots and discounted drinks. You also get to meet a lot of other travelers and its fun to share stories with one another. We made a few friends and decided to meet up the following day to do some more tourism together.
