Our campsite provided a tour for 20 Euro to the island of Capri. They picked us up from the beach on our camp site and took us around the island... dropped us off for the day... then picked us up to continue the tour 5 hours later. The coast is beautiful and Capri has Large cliffs all along the water, I don't know how this geography is formed but it was beautiful. I couldn't even see the top of all the cliffs because they were hidden by clouds. On the way we stopped at the Blue Grotto. We had no clue what it was but we paid the extra 8.50 euro to go into a small row boat and go in this small hole into the cave. It was unlike anything I've ever seen. Once inside the whole cave lights up bright blue from the reflection of the sunlight on the bottom and throughout.
First we tested out the beach and water. The beach was a stone beach which really hurt to walk on but the water was nice except in the morning there were jelly fish all inside. Then we went up to the town of Capri. The island is quite expensive. We walked around the Augustus gardens which had amazing views. There are 3 large cliffs off of the island that is often the post card view of Capri. I don't remember the name of all of them except one is named Stella. We got gelato then headed back down to the beach. By then i was very hot and stayed in the water a long time... of course I was the whitest person there besides Ryan. We got our Boat back which finished looping the island stopping at other spots like the green and white grotto. We even passed through the tunnel of the middle cliff island.
