While I was in Singapore, Hong Kong TB Zoe found a nice place for our meetup and made a reservation.
It's a neat chinese restaurant on Staunton St. in SoHo. As it isn't located near any MTR station, I checked out the place in the morning before the meetup to make sure I'll find my way in the evening to safely lead my fellow TBs to that place.
If you know your way, it's not so hard to find: Get out at MTR Central Exit C, turn left, walk towards Midlevel escalators, take escalator up to Staunton St., get off, and then walk about 200m to your right.
We were aiming to have about 10 people attending the meetup today.
After meeting at MTR Central Exit C we headed to the restaurant using the Midlevel escalators, which took us about 20 minutes.
The Double Happiness is a nice little restaurant, with room for about 20 persons. We had some yummy chinese food and enjoyed ourselves very much! The woman in charge attended us courteously. Really nice experience! :-)
After dinner we walked back to central to have some drinks in LKF. Scott, who just arrived today from the UK and probably still fighting the jetlag, took a leave and went back to his hostel. The rest of us went for drinks to a bar in LKF, which name I don't remember. Sadly, TB Zoe who had to work to 8pm couldn't attend us later that evening. Zoe, thank you so much for checking out and booking that lovely restaurant! :-)
We had big fun that evening! Thanks again guys for showing up at the meet up! Hope to see you again in the future.
