Our first stop was the Majorelle Garden, which was really good. Everything was green, which was quiet refreshing to see in such a sandy environment! Highlight of the Majorelle was a large pond in the middle of the garden that was packed with curious and sociable turtles!
We had to get our skates on to catch the next bus to our next stop, the El Bahia Palace.
We decided to spend our last night hanging around the Djemma El Fna, definetly our favourite part of the city. Having considered getting a henna tattoo previously, we decided to see how much one would set us back. We got talking to a couple of artists, and the talk soon became haggling, which continued even as they began giving us a tattoo. I ended up with one on my upper arm that comprised off a few swirls and a scorpion. Once it was finished and paid for, I was advised that the scorpion means "good luck". This was later confirmed when a local approached me later on to let me know this as well. Great!
We headed to bed early and were fast asleep after we peeled our tattooes as we had to be up at 4am the following morning for our flight to Milan!
