We made our way to Bratislava castle, which made for some excellent photos on such a scorching hot day. We ventured inside and had a good browse inside the castle and a couple of museums, before heading back outside for some views of the city. The rest of the day was spent wandering and people watching as well as finding the Annunciation Church, which was closed unfortunately.
A shopping trip was next on the agenda, and we sought out Tesco, in the hope that we would be able to get everything on our list with ease. However, this was not the case. We spent ages trying to figure out which water was still and which was gassy.
After some dinner, beers and a few games of cards we decided as it was a Friday we would head out to a pub and a then a club. The bar scene was quite vibrant, with lots of people out and about. However, we soon found that most of the people were groups of British stag parties. We tried to avoid them but they were everywhere and were being rude, loud and unfriendly. Watching them just made us embarrassed so we decided to get in a club. When we tried asking a couple of girls where the club was, they immediately replied 'fuck off'. We had no doubt that they thought because we spoke English, we were part of an obnoxious stag party. They must be used to being disrespected by the stag parties that hit the city on the weekends and were probably sick of it. On that sour note, we decided to call it a night and got a kebab each before heading back for some sleep.
