Sunday Mass and exploring Cincinnati

Sunday had finally arrived and we had a little bit of rain. Bob's son Drew and his girlfriend had offered to take me to mass on Sunday morning. I had told them I preffer the latin mass and they had searched for a chapel that offered it. How sweet is that?
We arrived to St. Mary's Church in Downtown Cincinnati for the religious service. The chapel is marvelous both in the inside and outside. I had never been to a Latin Mass offered in a Post-Vatican II Catholic Church chapel. The liturgy was basically the same as in any traditional latin mass, but with small differences, namely on the Confiteor, Psalms and the petitions before the Offertory. But the altar was traditional, and communion was taken while kneeling. The mass was a bit long because there were first communions, but it was very beautiful.
After mass we were a bit hungry so we went to a First Watch restaurant for breakfast. It was amazing! But I will talk about it in my review. After that, Drew and Mary took me to a quick tour around Cincinnati, and I could see the different stadiums and the river.
Later in the evening, Bob picked me up and he took me through a trip by the many parks of the city. I just loved it so much it looked so green! The day was a bit rainy so we decided to go to the movies and watch a documentary about sea life on that OMNI MAX screen. It was fun, but I get dizzy very easily and I did feel a little when the movie was over.
Bob dropped me by the hotel and then later Tim took me for dinner to a great and very fancy fish restaurant in Newport, KY. I was explained that most of the restaurants and places to hang out are in the KY side of the Greater Cincinnati metropolitan area. I had a lot of fun! My friends Tim and Bob really made me feel like home. I can't wait to come back!
