A stop to see the old west

Then it was on the road again and this time south bound towards Dodge City, Kansas. There to see Boot Hill and the old west town. We arrived at just after 4 p.m. and when we went into the Visitor's Center they suggested we hurry and head straight to the Boot Hill museum and replica of the old town because it closed at 5 p.m. So we quickly went and made our way in and around the large block of the old town replica. Up to the top first where the Boot Hill grave sites were. Roughly carved wooden headstones with names, or misc. information about the grave scattered about in a very random way. Then down to Front Street. Basically, it was a bunch of facades of the original town and the insides were all tied together with a walk-through museum that showed all the parts of the old town. Again, we took lots of pictures.
After we left Boot Hill we went to our hotel for the night, another Comfort Inn. Nice clean room with one king sized bed, no microwave or refrigerator, but coffee maker and wifi.
The girl at the front desk suggested Montana Mike's Steakhouse for a good meal, so we gave it a try. We ordered light and had a good meal.
Then back to the room to upload pics and do my blog while Judy used the exercise room.
