A good start to a very nice day.

We had several things to see in Portland this morning before heading on north-east. But in order to get breakfast we had to be up bright and early.  This hotel only serves from 6 am til 9 pm.  And we got down to a very busy and jam-packed breakfast area.  There were even people eating in the lobby and outside. Not the biggest breakfast assortment, but we ate enough to be satisfied and then checked out and got an early start.

One of the first things on our agenda today was the Portland Narrow Gauge Railroad Museum.  Not the best idea, because it didn't open until 10 am.  So we put that on the back burner and headed for Port Elizabeth, just over the bridge, and the Head Light House.  We got some photos out there and of several very nice and very expensive homes along the way as well as the a few of the great old buildings downtown.   After finishing those other places we made our way back to the Railroad Museum and took a small tour of the facility.
