My sister-in-law's home here in Little Falls is one of those beautiful old homes built over a hundred years ago.  It has been nicely restored and furnished with period pieces and yet also updated to include modern appliances.  Several old clocks that chime nicely on the hour make the feel even nicer.  But like all of that period homes it has several stories.  All of the bedrooms are upstairs and with a broken leg I couldn't even think about going upstaris to go to bed.  So I am relegated to sleeping in a recliner on the main floor.  Last night about 4 a.m. we had a wonderful thunder and lightning storm roll past and awakened every one of us in the house.  We had at least a half hour of flashes and thunder until we were able to get back to sleep.

I layed around taking it easy and trying to stay off my right foot as the instructed by the physician who put the splint on my leg.  Hopefullly I will get a call on Monday to see the doctor and get a cast on my leg. Hopefully, a walking cast! :D
