Today was just relaxing and taking it easy.
Oh, we did drive out to the Turning Stone Casino which is about an hour away to see what their casinos are like. Boy are they different and so much less enjoable than the ones we have in California. First, they have to sign you up by getting your name, address, phone number and even ask for your Social Security number. All of that goes onto their computer system and they issue you an electronic card. Then you must go to another place and put in your card, and a pin number to load your card with a dollar amount. To do that you deposit your money into a machine and press a bunch of keys. From there you go into the casino and find a machine to play. You need to enter you card, then your pin number, which doesn't always work. The machines are all very new and different than any I have ever played. All were five wheel and none seemed to be paying anyone. So much work to play a few dollars. We cashed out our cards after barely a half hour.
Dinner was at East End Steakhouse back in Little Falls. A very nice meal at a very inexpensive price. And the service was very good!!
Tonight we will do a couple of loads of laundry.
