Pushing on a little further

The plan had called for us to stay the night in Saint Luois and drive on to Indianapolis in the morning, but we felt it would be to our advantage to go on another hundred miles to cut down the length of tomorrows ride.  We made it to a small town named Effingham, only about two hours west of Indianapolis.

We are staying at a Comfort Suites tonight.  Very nice room, but this one didn't have cookies and the coffee that was supposed to be out for guests was from early this morning and even in a pump thermos type container was barely luke warm... yuck! The staff on duty didn't seem to care.

We ate dinner at another of the Iron Skillet restaurants at the Truck Stop.  Very good buffet dinner tonight, including salad, soup, and desert. I had roast beef, and Judy had baked Chicken.
