Our tour of Milwaukee included features like this four sided clock. The largest face in the world.

After a very small continental breakfast this morning we called and got in touch with Jim (blenderboy), who said he would come by and lead us back to his place in just a few minutes.  So we checked out and took our luggage down to our car in the rear parking lot.  We only had to wait about two minutes for him to arrive.  He led us back into downtown Milwaukee and to his wonderful home.  We went in and met his wife Joy and sat and talked for at least an hour before they took us out for a tour of their city.  Our tour took us through many of the great things in the city.  I got a few pictures although I must admit that talking with Joy and Jim kept me from getting several more.  We really enjoyed our drive.

Then they took us to one of their favorite dives, a Mexican Restaurant named Conejitos.

The Harley Davidson Museum was quite active.
They called it a dive, not me.  It apparently had been a bar at one time and now was owned and operated as a low cost but well done restaurant.  Almost all of the seats were swivel bar stools.  One thing that kept the cost down was that they served everything on paper plates.  The place was nearly packed the whole time we were there.  Very delicious food, and low prices made it a great find.

After lunch we made it back to their place where we said our goodbyes and thanks and headed west a short distance to visit with two of Judy's neices.  We spent the afternoon chatting and catching up.  It had been several years since we had seen them.  One of the neices was working and didn't get off work until about 8:30 in the evening, so the rest of us went out to dinner in nearby Johnson Creek, and a place named Hi-Way Harry's.

The name doesn't do this place justice.  This was a very upscale looking place as you walked in. Nice low lighting and a waterfall feature that really was amazing and you could hear a nice piano being played for guests.  But the menu items featured told of moderate prices.  Our group included about 14 including 4 young kids.  So they gave us a separate room.  It worked well for us and the kids.  We had a very nice meal and nearly everyone had much more than they could eat.

We had a hard time finding a hotel for the night but finally found the JC Plaza Hotel.  It was quite late and we checked in.
