Finally doing what I came for.

One of the main reasons for our trip this year was to look for and find data on my families history. I knew that the family arrived in the United States with Governor Winthrop and his colony back in 1630. Much of the family has stayed in the New England area, so there are book after book of the family and the things they have done and accomplished. But I am trying to also find burial sites. I found out where Elizabeth Buffum Chace was buried and went to that cemetery, a huge old glorious place named Swan Point. They have a kiosk system that holds the data for all people buried there, and when I put in our name, it began spitting out data. Way more than I could possibly look at. We spent all afternoon driving around and walking small areas finding and photographing head stones. An amazing day, and that was just for a small portion of the family in Rhode Island. Most are in Massachusetts. So I think we have a few more days worth of hunting to do.
We are trying to meet up with family in Massachusetts, so we drove north a little to Milford for the night. Comfort Inn is our hotel.
Dinner was at the Imperial Buffet, 350 East Main St, Milford. A nice sized restaurant specializing in Chinese food and Sushi. It was a little more costly than the same type of places we are familiar with at home, but the food was good.
