As we came over the border from Canada into Idaho we got the Welcome sign.

We made our way west and then south to Kingsgate, a very small area just north of the Canadian border and then across the border.  Again coming back into the USA is a much slower process than going into Canada.  I think there were only a few cars and a dozen trucks waiting and it still was long enough that everyone turned off their motors and sat quietly and waited.

Once through the border we headed on down through Bonners Ferry, Idaho.  Miles further through Sand Point, and I got a nice picture of a train headed north across the lake.

We ended our day 450 miles later in Spokane, Washington.  Nearly too tired to eat much we looked at each other and discussed what we wanted.  Flipping the pages of the local phone book we found a KFC and headed over to it for a few bites of chicken.

We are in the Quality Inn Downtown tonight just north of the freeway through town.
