Ami Cherry Blossom Festival
April 9, 2006
Every spring towns across Japan have a festival when the cherry blossoms come out. People living in the town will bring huge traps to lay on the grass, tons of food, and lots of drinks. There are a few stalls that are set up with games for the children to play or where you can buy food. The main point of the festival is to relax, sit under the blossoms, talk with friends, and relax. I had a wonderful time at my first cherry blossom festival and I wish I would have taken more pictures to show the simple festival and the enjoyment that one has at it.
