Florence (anything I can remember from the top of my head)

I took a bus from Grosseto to Florence, it was about 2 hours. I had butterflies in my stomach, I guess because I was travelling alone and I have to depend on myself to be responsible. Success! Anyways, getting around Florence was pretty easy (I had a map and it's a good thing I can read maps)... I also basically memorized the map, I don't know why I do this but it helps! I walked from the Duomo to the Ponte Vecchio in less than 20 minutes (it's that close). I liked the Duomo, but I think the Ponte Vecchio was more fascinating to me. I stared three things that I wanted to see on the map (just in case I couldn't see it all) 1. Duomo 2. Ponte Vecchio 3.Piazzale de Michaelangelo (or something like that). Anyways, I got to get to all three of them, and then some more after. I walked like I was on a mission though (only because I wanted to see everything). But now that I know it's so small, I would definitely take my time next time and possibly stay 2 days rather than a day trip. This town definitely knows their English, but I tired practicing my Italian and all they did was speak English right back to me (I guess I had an accent). Oh well, it was very artsy and anyone who appreciates photography, architecture, history, you are in the right place. :) I loved it there!
