We went to bed quite late but it was pretty easy to wake up early because of excitement. It was slightly foggy in the morning but with a good chance of sunshine so we hoped for it.
We left the hotel at about 8.30 am to be able to reach Hamamatsucho Bus Terminal at 8.50am which is conveniently located under JR Hamamatsucho station. We were surprised to see empty streets like there were no people on Earth anymore! We reached the station pretty fast, somehow when you know where to go the distance from one point to another becomes even closer =)
I booked the trip to Mount Fuji and Lake Ashi in Sydney and I don't regret it! The bus ride to Mount Fuji was really exciting, driving through the heart of Tokyo and seeing many Cherry Blossoming gardens and alleys was amazing.
After lunch we went to a small gift shop under the restaurant and my mom bought six cans of different flavoured seaweed chips which she adores greatly. That was the first time when I saw seaweed chips but yet again - I'm not a big fan of eating dry seaweed. After that the bus took us straight to Mount Fuji. It was cloudy but we still hoped for some miracle =)
