Back to Tokyo...

It was a long trip to Mount Fuji and than Hakone but our trip back was definitely the longest one. On the highway we got stuck in traffic for about two or even three hours... The first drop-off stop in Tokyo was in Shinjuku (the streets were drowning in lights, very beautiful!) but we chose to get off at Ginza and walk down to our hotel.
I know, it was a really long walk especially after fully packed day trip and exhausting ride back but it was my mother's last night in Japan and mine last night in Tokyo. Tomorrow she was going back to Sydney and I was heading to Kyoto.
Once we were on the streets - two stubborn idiots clashing their *map reading skills* were at their best. We nearly chocked each other for the right way to go =) Ok, I have to admit - neither of us were right... We were lost. Eventually we came across a Police Box with an old policemen inside... Don't get me wrong but the guy was totally clueless where exactly on the map he himself was standing... The huge map was behind him and he was looking at it with even more puzzled look than we were... Eventually I worked it out looking at his huge map comparing to my pocket one and we were finally on the right way. We passed lots of high end boutiques (I'm glad they were closed at night, my credit card was safe at last =)) Small restaurants were all full, we were not that much hungry anyway... We passed by H&M store and I told my mom that when it was first opened there was a long queue to get in as I learned it from Ivar's pictures and blog =)
We left busy nightlife of Ginza and found ourselves on some really dark streets, it was quiet and even before that we had a little fight with my mom she suddenly turned as quiet as me as it was some strange feeling of loneliness there.
It was a long walk (true story) but we didn't feel like eating anything. Anyway I convinced my mom to buy some takeaway from Johnathan's before we went back to the hotel. I got some westernized dish and we ate it once we came back. Wah...that was really one loOong day! =)
I felt like crying because I knew that we are leaving tomorrow and I didn't want it to end that fast.
