My treasures =) I bought cookies (they have funny deer faces), cute beanie with deer ears and even a tail! small deer toy and a few postcards that I hang on the wall at home already =)
After arriving at Kyoto
Station I bought some takeaway sandwiches at DONQ
bakery, another franchise with good yummy food. They had lots of tasty pastries
and sandwiches, even hotdogs. I even use some of their recipes for making my
sandwiches at home now =) So I ran back to the hotel had a little rest, ate my
takeaway and decided to take a walk around Kyoto Station since it was the last
evening in Kyoto and in Japan too...
I went to Kyoto Station and passed by some small restaurants. I saw a couple
of men in suits leaving one restaurant, I presume they were quite drunk as they
started to jump around like bunnies and it felt really weird... They were laughing and
started talking to me but I don't know Japanese at all so it was pointless, I just
quickly ran up the Station and started snapping pictures of surroundings.
Kyoto Station at Night
discovered some contemporary art sculptures/pieces of art and made some pictures
of it too. It was dark all around with minimum lights, than suddenly I saw two
people in the dark with a flash light, little chills ran down my spine but
they appeared to be security officers... Ugh. It looked like they checked if
everything was alright around and that I was not some suspicious person. It was
really windy and I decided not to go up the top level but instead go outside and
take some pictures of beautifully lighted Kyoto Tower. After I became completely
frozen up I decided to go back to the hotel and pack my things up so tomorrow I
have more time for walking around before leaving Kyoto by bullet train.
